AV distribution outfit CYP has announced no fewer than 30 new products at ISE 2014, dramatically expanding its HDBaseT, HDMI and AV distribution offerings. Incoming HDBaseT kit includes an integrated HDBaseT Digital amplifier (the AU-A300HBT, pictured above), two new HDBaseT Zone Extenders (HDBaseT - PU-HBTE-ZE and the HDBaseT Lite - PUHBTL-ZE) plus the 8-in/4-out EL-5500-HBT presentation switch with HDBaseT in/out and switchable digital bypass control.
CYP says it has extended 4K compatibility to key HDBaseT products, as well as adding to its Display Wall control range. New HDMI products include the 6-in/2-out UHD HDMI switch with audio de-embedding (OR-HD62CD) and the 4 input / 4 output seamless HDMI video wall control matrix (OR-44VWC).
CYP is also using ISE to officially launch what it describes as its most "revolutionary home automation processor yet", the DemoPad Centro 8. Designed from the ground up to run DemoPad Android and iOS home automation apps, the Centrro 8 features all of the connectivity and control options necessary for literally any control and automation requirement. CYP maintains that the new processor will allow installers and integrators to offer "a cost-effective solution previously unachievable" and in the process open up a new sub £5k home automation market.
Demopad demonstrations feature heavily on CYP's ISE stand, along with dedicated areas for HDBaseT technology and video-wall control solutions.
