Big screen supplier Screen Excellence joins Karma-av

High-end projection screen maker Screen Excellence is the latest addition to the portfolio of luxury home entertainment distributor Karma-av.

The brand, which manufactures in Suffolk, specialises in acoustically transparent and curved screens. Launched in 2005 by industry veteran Patrice Congard, Screen Excellence now offers nine models, suitable for home theatre rooms large and… larger, covering conventional flat and curved fixed frame designs, as well as motorised models with variable masking.

Its latest offering, a high-performance curved frame model, with lateral masking, was launched at ISE. The brand has been at the forefront of screen development for 4K ultra HD compatible fabric. Its Enlightor 4K acoustically transparent surface maintains 4K resolution without suffering from moiré patterns. Loudspeakers placed behind the screen experience just 2dB of attenuation.

karma-av MD Ian Severs says that the Screen Excellence range delivers "genuinely unique performance advantages to home theatre installers, and we're very proud to be able to offer this quality and versatility in support of our established high-end home theatre brands."

Certainly, Screen Excellence looks a good match for other Karma-av marques which include JBL Synthesis, Mark Levinson, Primare and Vivadi.
