AWE has stepped up its 4K UHD and curved TV offerings, with the introduction of Samsung's HU7500 (pictured above), H8000 and HU8500 models. UHD is available both flat, as the HU7500, and curved, in the guise of the HU8500 line. If curved Full HD fits the bill, the distributor also offers Samsung's 1080p H8000 models. The HU7500 is available in 48-, 55-, 65- to 75-inch screen sizes. The Full HD H8000 range comes in 48-, 55- and 65-inch versions, while the flagship Samsung HU8500 (pictured below) is available in 55, 65 and 78-inch variants.
Addressing the controversial issue of wall-mounting the curved models, sales director Paul Mott says: "Our slim Kinetik Labs bracket is capable of wall mounting these screens, which although may seem counter-intuitive, really works well and makes a real statement in any high-end home."
Both the HU7500 and HU8500 feature advanced UHD upscaling to make the most of Full-HD content. Significantly, the models also feature upgradable Smart Evolution connection boxes which allow the screens to keep pace with any changes in UHD broadcast technology. All three screens sport the latest iteration of the brand's Smart Hub, which offers a wide variety of streaming VoD and catch-up.
