AWE has announced details for its autumn Expo. The two day event will take place at its Alexander House HQ, Epsom, on October 27-28. MD Stuart Tickle is promising “a whole host of upgrades” to its Smart House show apartment, with new product introductions from Loewe, Denon, HDanywhere, Epson, KEF, Marantz, Panasonic, Samsung, Philips lighting and URC.
Delegates will have any early opportunity to see 75- and 85-inch Loewe Reference UHD TVs;Panasonic’s first OLED TV, the TX-65CZ950; HEOS Drive multizone amplifier and KEF’s CI200RR in-ceiling speakers. Another AWE exclusive is the Samsung 82-inch S9 UHD TV, which is the replacement for the S9 picture frame TV.
The AWE Cinema has been upgraded and now features a KEF 7.5.4 THX speaker package and Epson LS10000 laser projector, firing onto a Draper Silhouette tab tensioned electric screen. Amplification comes via the Marantz SR5010 7.1 AV receiver, a Dolby Atmos/DTS:X compatible model with HDCP 2.2 support, again exclusively available through AWE. Visitors are also promised the latest in URC control, which now benefits from a KNX module.
There will also presentations throughout the event, offering a closer look at the latest in Smart Home tech. These will include Panasonic’s new Smart Home range of cameras and sensors, multiroom audio solutions from HEOS by Denon and DTS:X and Dolby Atmos home cinema.
