AWE will throw the doors of its revamped smart apartment open on November 7-8, for the its annual Autumn Smart Home Expo. The event is open to technology integrators, electricians, aerial installers and retailers.
Attendees will be the first to experience a new £15,000 all-in Dolby Atmos home cinema, which feature in-wall speakers from Definitive Technology for the first time. “We’ve created a smaller cinema, to reflect the kind of garage space conversions people are looking at,” AWE MD Stuart Tickle told Inside CI. Visitors will get to experience the 100-inch version of Sony’s Award winning ZD9 UHD TV, and a two-channel high-end Hi-Fi demonstration featuring the lauded Kef Blade 2 loudspeakers.
The distributor says it has been hard at work creating new interactive spaces that reflect developments in the fast moving world of smart home technology.
These include demonstrations of a URC Total Control 2.0 interactive apartment, QMotion wire-free blinds and SilentGliss motorised curtains. Other new attractions include luxury mirror, bathroom and exterior all-weather televisions from Videotree.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the invitation from AWE for its dealers to use the smart environment to engage with both AWE staff and clients. To register to attend the event, click here. For more news stories about AWE and its product portfolio and services, visit our AWE resource page here.
