Totem Acoustic expands premium Kin Play audio range

Totem Acoustic has updated its Kin Play audio offering, as it pursues its goal of offering integrators a coherent range of stylish, high performance kit that covers a range of audio scenarios, from home cinema to whole home Hi-Fi.

The Kin Play range comprises active Kin Play bookshelf speakers, the Kin Play mini bookshelf speakers, Kin Play soundbar and the Kin sub10. From home cinema to media rooms, Totem Acoustic has it covered. Here's the line in detail...

The Kin Play/ Kin Play Mini bookshelf speaker
The Kin Play is an active bookshelf speaker (180 x 355 x 235mm w/h/d), with 120W amplification, and Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX HD.

Ready to partner with a range of sources, connections include a switchable phono/line stereo RCA input (with in-built phono stage); 3.5mm minijack, digital optical audio input, subwoofer output and an amp bypass input.

The latter, coupled with auto on/input sensing, means the speaker can be used with a various streaming products in a variety of custom installation and automation scenarios. 

The Kin Play ships with four metres of 16-gauge, 19 strand, Oxygen Free Copper wire, terminated with dual banana plugs; aluminium remote control, interconnects and adhesive backed isolation feet.

Offering the same feature set is the Kin Play Mini (162 x 270 x 190mm w/h/d), designed for when space is at a premium for scenarios such as an office or bedroom. This smaller iteration offers 70W per channel.

The Kin Play and Kin Play Mini are both available in Satin White or Black finish with colour matching magnetic grill covers.

Kin Play Soundbar
Designed to partner screens of 55in and up (52 x 1200 x115mm w/h/d), the Kin Play soundbar has Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi, via a Qualcomm aptX HD chipset, along with digital optical audio, 3.5mm minijack, Stereo RCA and subwoofer output.

Behind the grill are Totem Acoustic developed KIN Natural Hybrid woofers and metal alloy tweeters, driven by 75W per amplifier. The Soundbar performs down to 60Hz.

The product ships with its own dual piece mounting bracket and optional adhesive backed sound isolation pads. It's also available in the same Satin White and Black as the others in the range, with colour matching magnetic cloth grilles.

The Kin Play Sub 10
Finally adding gravitas to the range is the Kin Play Sub 10, featuring a 10in woven fiberglass woofer, powered by a bespoke 300W amplifier. In-room presence can be fine-tuned via the BASS EQ offering a pure and linear ‘Natural’ setting or an enhanced ‘High Impact’ setting for something more intense. Despite its power, the unit is relatively compact (330 x 292 x 345mm w/h/d) with ultra-low-profile feet and a sealed enclosure construction. The Sub 10 can join the Kin Play soundbar via the LINK unit, which wirelessly connects the sub to the rest of the range.

Totem Acoustics is distributed by Redline. Integrators should note that Redline offers a Custom Colour Cloth printing service, along with a full custom paint service, allowing any of the Kin play range to either stand out or blend into a rooms décor.
