Acoustic Energy will use ISE as the launchpad for the latest generation of its active loudspeaker package, the AEGO3. Combining miniature speakers with a matching subwoofer that houses amplification, this 2.1 solution is available in two models, a traditional subwoofer plus stereo satellite package, and also a new subwoofer plus single-speaker stereo soundbar.
The new alloy-bodied speakers offer a host of connectivity options including optical digital, analogue and Bluetooth AptX wireless. The speakers can be used as a compact TV system or active audio solution alongside interactive white boards and AV presenters.
Both iterations feature wired and wireless connectivity options and single mains power input on the subwoofer. There’s no requirement to run power to the satellite speakers or soundbar, simplifying installation and reducing complexity of electrical compliance, particularly in public buildings.
“The AEGO series has been our best-selling product in the commercial sector for well over a decade,” says Acoustic Energy MD Neil Truckell, “and the new AEGO3 builds on the performance, connectivity and installation simplicity of the original.” He suggests ISE will expose the AEGO3 to an ever wider audience of European installers and specifiers in the AV business sector.
Attendees will find Acoustic Energy exhibiting at ISE alongside the company’s European Distributor AVEMEA. For more on ISE 2016, visit our resource page here.
