Wyrestorm has previewed a raft of new HDBaseT, HDMI and HD Over IP offerings due to launch at ISE 20216. Following a 2015 restructure, the brand says it will continue its commitment to Residential CI through its Installer Solutions brand, as well as expand its ProAV Solutions line and retail-facing Express line. Predictably, 4K provides the focus with new matrix switchers, extenders, presentation switchers and test equipment debuting at the show.

Highlights will include a variety of extender solutions and the full range of new H2 range of HDMI and HDBaseT matrix switchers, with 4x4 and 6x6 Pure HDMI models offering support of HDMI 2.0 video standards for 4K@60Hz with chroma subsampling of 4:2:0 or 30Hz at 4:4:4.

HDBaseT models will come in the form of 6x6 and 8x8 boasting Class A 5Play HDBaseT transmission for 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 video, HD audio, 2way IR/RS-232 control, Ethernet and PoH power up to 70m  or 1080p up to 100m, and an 4x4+receiver installer kit supporting distances up to 35m (4K) or 70m (1080p).

“With ratification of 4K broadcast standards from the likes of BDA and UHD Alliance and the availability of 4K content and source devices set to explode in 2016, we felt ISE was the perfect showcase for WyreStorm’s comprehensive range of 4K solutions,”  says Adrian Ickeringill, WyreStorm General manager. “It's a measure of our belief in where we feel the industry is heading and our commitment to our technologies that we are placing such emphasis on 4K in our product offerings at ISE this year.”

4K doesn't just apply to matrix and extender solutions. Attendees will be given a first look at new HDMI and HDBaseT 4x2 HDMI Multi-view PiP Switcher/scalers with dual 4K outputs, first seen at CEDIA 2015.

Also incoming are two new HDBaseT presentational models boasting 5x1 and 10x1 multi-format digital and audio connectivity. Adding to the WyreStorm range of HD over IP solutions, ISE 2016 will also host the latest line of NetworkHD 100 and 200-Series encoders, decoders and controller supporting H.264 for scalable true plug and play Full HD over a network “for one of the fastest and easiest HD over IP systems available.”

ISE 2016 will also see WyreStorm evolve its Enado Control System with the release of the new Enado v4 operating system to accompany the new Enado Mini AV controller, which promises all the power of the Enado system at a fraction of the size.
