WyreStorm has unveiled its first Enado AV system controller and user interface at ISE 2014, and confirmed a March shipping date. The long anticipated browser-based UI offers integrators' the ability to control AV distribution systems using any Internet-enabled device, and when paired with the Enado Controller, provides installers with a complete, out of the box control solution which can be deployed without any programming experience. To the end user, Enado acts just like a regular iOS or Android app.

The Controller itself (pictured above) is a 1U professional 19-inch rack mounted unit with 16 assignable IR ports, 8x Integrated IP ports, an array of contact closures and Wi-Fi for connection to any networked devices. Enado can also sit on a regular LAN and be used to control devices in large buildings or remotely.

The Enado ecosystem is designed to make installation and programming particularly simple. The no-programming required browser-based Configuration Tool is backed by an extensive IR database, but a built-in device editor and IR learner means new devices can easily added. A series of RS232 and IP drivers for a variety of popular devices will be available at launch.

Enado control software can automatically identify and deliver the correct visual format for any connected device regardless of the operating system, device type or screen orientation. Auto recognition even allows smartphone platforms to be scaled, yet still able to provide full control functionality of AV sources with buttons overlaying live video generated from WyreStorm's HD to IP decoding technology.

The system will sell for £1499. Integrators can connect multiple user devices with Enado, with no license or additional fees beyond the initial controller purchase.
