Wyrestorm has unveiled a full suite of single cable 4K UHD products at CEDIA Expo, including matrix switching, splitting and transmission extension and receiving solutions. Two 4K matrix switchers are available: the 4K 8x8 HDMI to HDMI MX-0808-4K, pictured above, as well as the 5-play (AV, two-way IR control and RS232, Ethernet and PoE up to 70m/230ft for 2160p or 100m/328ft for 1080p) HDBaseT MX-0808-PP-POH-4K. Both support 4K at 30Hz@4:4:4 and 60Hz@4:2:0. Expect a US retail price of $4999 and $9995 respectively.

EX-70-4K 70m Low Profile Extenders 1b CopyThe brand has also launched it's highly anticipated Enado multi-platform control system in Denver. The Enado control interface provides an integrator and user-friendly solution for the control and support of HD AV distribution systems, via a browser, from anywhere in the world. It's compatible with any Internet-enabled device, be it smartphone, tablet or PC. For the end user, Enado behaves like a traditional app, accessed via an iOS or Android  mobile device. For the integrator, it's a powerful hardware controller with an extensive IR database, which does not require extensive programming experience. A built-in device editor and IR learner, means new devices can be added as required.

The  WyreStorm Enado Controller itself, pictured below, is a 1U 19-inch rack-mounted unit featuring 16 assignable IR ports, integrated IP ports and array of contact closures, with built-in secure Wi-Fi. The result for integrators, says Wyrestorm, is "an affordable, scalable, out of the box control system for A/V distribution quite unlike anything else on the market." The system supports live video streaming previews on the control device and automatic recognition and delivery of correct visual format for any connected device.
