CMoDe's on-wall charging dock for mobile devices has had a makeover. The new uniDock Aluminium is available in anodised black and silver, and features three integrated connectors on each side of its characteristic pull out and rotate design, for use with a variety of different devices. There's a Lightning connector for iOS, a rotating Micro USB B connection plus a standard USB 2.0 female connector to accomodate any standard USB cable. Distibution is via Invision UK.

The uniDock gives a high power 10W 2A output enabling it to charge two devices at the same time. The unit fits a standard 35mm deep EU backbox, so fitment should be straightforward. The uniDock even has an integrated LED night-light, operated by the touch sensor on the aluminium facia. CMoDe is a sister company to iOS on-wall charging specialist iRoom.

"The aluminium finish is a fantastic addition to the product line" enthuses Invision product specialist David Meyerowitz. "By using this lightweight but strong material, CMoDe have managed to improve the handling of the product as well as giving it a great look and feel." Meyerowitz says he expects high levels of interest as users gravitate to wire-free design solutions.
