CI trade distributor Invision UK is now shipping RTI's T1-B+ handheld remote control. The T1-B+ is the third generation of RTI's popular T1-B universal system controller, now featuring RTI's dual RF platform. It allows all other factory remote controls to be combined into one simple, ergonomic user interface, providing easy-to-use one-handed system control.

Essentially an upgrade of the T1-B,  this Plus iteration offers either one-way control via 433-MHz RF or bi-directional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics through 2.4-GHz ZigBee.

David Meyerowitz, sales specialist at Invision UK, reveals that the original the T1-B was the distributor's best selling remote control. "I've no doubt that the raft of new features on the T1-B+ will ensure that it will be just as popular, if not even more so," he predicts..

The new model features eight source and four general purpose assignable/programmable keypad buttons with interchangeable key caps, as well as forty assignable/programmable keypad buttons. In addition to transmitting IR and RF from a single command, the zapper is completely customisable and programmable. The unit utilises a Lithium-Ion Battery and comes with a docking station.
