Wyrestorm makes key US sales appointments to grow Pro AV business

Signal distribution and control specialist Wyrestorm has made two key management additions to its US sales team. Jason Nipper (pictured above) and Michael Almasy (pictured below) have joined as Sales managers.

Nipper takes on the role of Director of Sales Eastern Region, tasked with developing WyreStorm’s Pro AV busines. With almost a decade of industry experience, he comes to WyreStorm from a Biometric Technology Solutions provider, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.  Previously, Nipper served as Regional Sales Manager for Knox Video Technologies.  Says WyreStorm’s Vice President of Sales and Marekting, Hal Truax:

“Jason has a real passion for the brands he represents, which translates into an exceptional attention to the details and a laser focus on the needs of his customers.  He has demonstrated this time and again, going above-and-beyond for his customers. We are excited to have Jason on board to help with the continued growth of the WyreStorm brand”.     

Michael Almasy Crop

Michael Almasy is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in data communications, network system integration and AV.  As founder and president of Princeton Network Systems, Almasy ran the network systems integration provider for Microsoft and Novell networks, specializing in LAN and WAN network support services.  Almasy also served in senior sales management roles for Raritan Computer, Magenta Research and SVSI.

On his new position, Almasy comments: “WyreStorm is a leader in AV signal distribution with much expertise in the evolving AV over IP technologies.  I am looking forward to helping WyreStorm enter new markets.  The future is very bright!”
