WyreStorm is now shipping its H2L Series matrix switchers. These Class B HDBaseT additions to its matrix switcher line are available in 6x6 and 8x8 models. Distribution is via Invision UK and Habitech.
The H2L Series matrix switchers are a value iteration of its H2 Class A HDBaseT models, and are suitable for both 2K and 4K UHD video sources, supporting HDR, HDCP.2.2 and multichannel audio including DTS:X and Dolby Atmos.
Class B HDBaseT technology transmits up to 35m for 4K and 70m for 1080p, and would suit small to medium-sized residential projects, containing 4K UHD sources and displays.
The H2L combines residential-focused features, such as HDR at 10-bit, and PoH to remotely power receivers, thereby eliminating the need for local power supplies at display locations.
WyreStorm’s QuickSync instant switching is also included for uncompressed single frame end-to-end latency, as well as the brand’s new SmartEDID technology, for dynamic management of EDID signals from combined 1080p and 4K displays.
Bidirectional IR pass-through offers source and sink control, while RS-232 supports WyreStorm Enado and other major third party control systems. An embedded Web UI enables setup, configuration and matrix switching within an easy to use interface accessible from a PC or laptop.
