Home cinema projectors from Taiwanese specialist Vivitek are now available exclusively through Armour Home. The distribution arrangement covers six models, with prices ranging from £1,000 through to £9,000. Chris Emerson, Armour Home's sales director, says he's delighted to announce the news, saying: "Everyone on our sales team is looking forward to getting these fantastic products in front of our dealers - they clearly offer that winning combination of outstanding performance and excellent value."
Vivitek, part of the Delta Electronics group, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of DLP projectors, but has a relatively low profile with both consumers and the trade - something Armour Home intends to address. Its line-up extends beyond home cinema, with offerings for the corporate, education and large venue markets. The company is also notable for launching the world's first 1080p Full HD LED home cinema projector in 2009, the H9080FD.
Brian Grogan, Vivitek Corporation's sales manager for Europe, says the brand "investigated a number of possible UK distribution companies but Armour was always at the top of our list. They have vast experience and expertise in this segment which both parties are confident will translate into a strong market presence."
