Projection specilist Vivitek has announced a new deinstall/reinstall warranty for the education sector, pledging onsite service or replacement immediately the day after the service call is made - if the projector fails within its warranty period. The deinstall/reinstall warranty is an addition to the existing education 5-year parts/labour & 3-year lamp warranty.

"We know how vital projectors have become for teachers and tutors," says Brian Grogan, Vivitek Corporation's sales manager for Europe. "Visual learning is becoming increasingly important in schools and educational establishments, so we offer the assurance that we will handle the repair/replacement on site to have a working projector back in no time." Projectors covered by the scheme are the D795WT, D791ST and D855ST.  To take advantage of the deinstall/reinstall programme, users should call 0871 423 3891 before 17.00 on weekdays to ensure the replacement can take place on the next business day. There's a limited to projection installations up to 3m maximum height.
