URC debuts High Definition Audio multi-zone amps

Residential and commercial control specialist URC has launched its High Definition Audio (HDA) multi-room audio product portfolio, as part of the CEDIA Virtual Expo.

The new components are designed to partner the brand’s in-ceiling and outdoor speakers.The introduction effectively creates a one-stop-shop for whole-house audio, with robust networking and class-leading control, says URC founder Chang K. Park.

High definition audio (HDA) systems promise studio-quality fidelity and easy integrator installation within URC’s Total Control system.
The line includes HDA-8100 and HDA-4100 multi-zone amplifiers, HDA-1600 low-Z/70 volt amplifier, HDA-130 single zone amplifier, HDA-SW5 Gigabit AVB network switch and HDA-IO stream adaptor.

With support for 96 kHz/24-bit streaming, up to 8 stereo or 16 mono channel outputs, mic mixing, ducking, network audio sharing, full DSP and parametric EQ. It is expandable up to 32 zones and can store up to 10 .WAV files per device.
