Triad has introduced its Distributed Audio Series loudspeakers designed for multiroom audio applications. The range includes 14 models in various sizes and installation configurations (in-ceiling, in-wall, stereo and mono), with pivoting tweeter and customisable low-profile grilles.

All models ship with a white, round, low-profile grille. Replacement square and round grilles are available for purchase from Control4, and can be custom paint-matched to blend into any décor.

Distributed Audio Series 1 is available as an in-ceiling (TS-IC61) or in-wall (TS-IW61) model, with polypropylene woofers and 19mm aimable cloth dome tweeters.

Distributed Audio Series 2 is also available in either In-ceiling and in-wall guide. The line uses reinforced poly-mica woofers, and steerable Teteron dome tweeters. All four in-ceiling models (TS-IC52, TS-IC62, TS-IC82, and TS-IC82DT) and two in-wall models (TS-IW62 and TS-IW82) are voice-matched, allowing integrators to mix and match speaker configurations. For projects trying to squeeze stereo sound into a smaller space, the Distributed Audio Series 2 TS-IC82DT model incorporates dual tweeters.

Top of the range, the Distributed Audio Series 3 are available as four in-ceiling models (TS-IC53, TS-IC63, TS-IC83, and TS-IC83DT – with dual tweeters), and two in-wall models (TS-IW63 and TS-IW83) include one-inch silk dome tweeters for smooth, high-frequency sound, and carbon-fiber woofers provide durability and deep bass. This option come equipped with an integrated back box for better sound isolation.

“Our new Triad Distributed Audio Series speakers were thoughtfully designed to satisfy a wide range of listeners, as the demand for multi-room audio solutions for any budget is requested by builders, contractors, dealers, and homeowners,” said Charlie Kindel, Senior Vice President of Products and Services for Control4.
