The Technological Innovations Group (TIG) has held the first in a series of sales engineering bootcamps.

The AV sales agency, which offers integrated automation and control solutions for smart spaces across the EMEA, staged its inaugural bootcamp at the company’s Belgian offices on September 11 and 12, the objective being to share best practices and increase their ability to empower the AV integrators they work with.

“As TIG’s sales team has rapidly expanded in recent months, this event was the perfect opportunity for our sales engineers to gain deeper knowledge of the brands and solutions available from TIG, as well as to keep up to date with the latest developments in the wider AV sector,” says TIG CEO, Robin van Meeuwen. “We’re investing in this crucial area to offer extra value and widen the gap between ourselves and the competition.”

Led by TIG’s Sales Director Steven Dullaert and Sales Engineering Manager Kevin Huysegoms, one of the main focuses of the bootcamp was to explore the strengths of the Crestron Flex and Oblong Industries’ Mezzanine suite of solutions.

“It was very exciting to bring together all our sales engineers at the first of many bootcamps. In the fast changing AV landscape we want to ensure that our sales engineers stay ahead of technology,” says Dullaert, adding that the bootcamp is looking to be a regular event.
