Tidal has come to Cambridge Audio. The British Hi-Fi company has announced that the premium streaming service is now available on on its network players and AV receivers.

The service brings CD-quality audio to the 851N, CXN, CXN (V2), CXR120, CXR200 and Stream Magic 6 (V2) devices. To access Tidal, users will need to update the firmware on their devices and be running the most up to date version of the Cambridge Connect app.

“We know how popular the service is amongst our customers, we’ve heard the requests and we’re proud we’ve been able to deliver,” comments MD Stuart George. Cambridge Audio is currently celebrating its fiftieth anniversary, and is a keen advocate of ‘British Sound’. Tidal boasts a 50 million song catalogue, and is favoured amongst audiophiles.
