Box office smash The Meg, and The Equalizer 2, will make their debut on Rakuten TV in 4K HDR this December. The Jason Statham and Denzil Washington big hitters will be joined by horror hits The Nun and Slender Man in UHD.

The service will also bow Spike Lee’s critically acclaimed BlacKkKlansman, starring John David Washington and Adam Driver; the Emma Thompson and Stanley Tucci drama The Children Act, as well as the the live-action reimagining of Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, starring Ewan McGregor and Hayley Atwell. However these will be available in HD and SD only.

Also missing out on 4K releases are Idris Elba’s big screen directorial debut Yardie, historical Irish war tale Black ’47 starring Hugo Weaving and missing person thriller Searching, from director Aneesh Chaganty.
