GJD TechSmart devices now support direct integration with Lutron and Rako home automation drivers, Invision UK has announced. The move allows the TechSmart range, which comprises proximity detectors, precision laser sensors and Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators, can now be integrated within whole-home Lutron and Rako lighting control systems. Every event that a TechSmart device can generate, such as a motion alert or a low light level, can now trigger a smart action lighting response from either system.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to connect with the well-respected smart home brands of Lutron and Rako,” says Mark Tibbenham, GJD’s Managing Director. “The new integrations allow Custom Integrators to enhance smart home systems by providing efficient lighting, temperature control, perimeter detection and early intruder warning alerts.”
Integration functionality is embedded in the GJD firmware and configured from its web interface. For Lutron, this is via the Lutron Phantom Keypad ID and Button number, while for Rako, it’s tied to Room number and command.
