A low-cost smart home system, that promises full voice controlled integration of lights and security for less than £300, has been launched by TCP Smart , with distribution through Exertis.

The brand says it aims to dispel myths about the complexity and expense of smart-home technology, via a portfolio of products designed for the everyday, including voice-activated lights and security cameras.

All the TCP Smart system connect directly to the Wi-Fi, and can be set up through the TCP Smart App. This provides control for lighting, heating, power and security products. Lighting and power products can be grouped together, allowing entire rooms to be activated or deactivated at once. The system works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri Shortcuts.
