Stealth Acoustics has added a subwoofer to its Image III on-wall art speaker series. The low-profile subwoofer, which makes its debut at ISE, allows integrators to provide a complete audio solution using the on-wall art line. Suggested applications include media room and corporate installations.

“Interior designers and homeowners care about how a living or functional space looks and also about providing quality sound reproduction that complement those décor outcomes,” says Steve Olszewski, Vice President at Stealth Acoustics. “Now, by adding a subwoofer to our Image III on-wall speaker line-up, there is no need to compromise on impactful sound performance or aesthetic look. Our new Listening Room on the show floor at ISE will demonstrate that our art speakers, as well as our totally invisible speakers, are truly high performance solutions for installers. Our speakers provide surprisingly loud and immersive, high quality audio, especially when allowed to receive the full 300+ watts of rated power from our high-current amplifiers.”

The speaker is compatible with Stealth’s flat screen concealment system, CoverArt, a tri-part speaker-art-speaker panorama dubbed Trilogy. The speaker uses a Fidelity Glass flat front radiator surface, which has no grille or visible opening. This allows the integrator to cosmetically match any wall finish.

The Image III Sub employs a dual 8-inch cone-woofer which extends bass response down to 35Hz; it can be partnered with Stealth’s SA255 monaural subwoofer amplifier or the SA2400 dual channel amp. Using other Image III speakers, a sound system can be configured from a 2.1 to full Dolby Atmos.
