Sky will start broadcasting with Dolby Atmos audio from tomorrow. The first outing with be on Sky Sports, specifically the Premier League match between Arsenal and Leicester (August 11).
Latecomers will also be able to watch the match from the start, by selecting the Red button on the Sky Sports Premier League channel. They can choose to either Watch From Start or go to key moments, which are highlighted in the progress bar (pictured below).
Beginning on August 14, Sky Q 2TB customers will also be able to relax to 12 animated scenes from around the world, including sunset beaches, flowering meadows, idyllic waterfalls and swimming pools in Ultra HD, as well as great artworks. Animated Ultra HD images of each of the 20 Premier League Stadiums of 2017/18 will also be available to download for football fans. Both can be accessed in the Ultra HD section on Sky Q.
The Great Artwork UHD collectiuon includes Mona Lisa (da Vinci), The Starry Night (van Gogh), The Fighting Temerarie (Turner - the painting from Skyfall), The Hay Wain (Constable), The Scream (Munch) and Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette (Renoir)
