Audio specialist Simaudio has announced a partnership with German high-resolution audio music streaming and download service, HighResAudio.

Operated out of Berlin and Hamburg, HighResAudio is a download service for audiophiles that only offers music recordings at 24-bit resolution. HRA’s albums are all available in a native sampling rate of 44.1kHz up to 384kHz, and include album descriptions, biographies, reviews and artist related content.

Adopting a proprietary structure and rich graphic design, HighResAudio promises users ease of use, comprehensive search functions and special features to allow customers to browse, manage, customise and purchase high- resolution digital music.

The HighResAudio streaming music service, which offers more than 45,000 albums, will be integrated into Moon’s MiND 2 network players and the new Moon MiND Controller app, which is used to browse and play files.

Dominique Poupart, Simaudio’s product manager, said, ‘We have long-admired their premium recordings and love how they sound when played through a Moon system. We know that our customers are going to enjoy their music as much as we do.’

Lothar Kerestedjian, managing director and founder of HRA, declared Simaudio’s MOON products as “the perfect partner” for the service. “Our albums are ideal for Moon’s audiophiles and music lovers who we know value a pure and dynamic sound.” For more on HighResAudio, visit the service online here.
