The new RTI T4x remote control is now shipping, Invision has announced. The flagship controller of the award-winning wireless interface line-up from RTI, it features a 4-inch high-resolution capacitive touchscreen, hard-touch buttons, and a completely customisable interface.

Suitable for residential and commercial applications, it features including grip sensors which keep the remote awake while in use as well as Wi-Fi and dual RF connectivity, the latter uses 433MHz and 2.4GHz through Zigbee technology.

The T4X transmits IR and IF, or both using a single button press. The remote uses a Lithium-Ion battery and comes with a docking statition. Customizable and programmable, it sports a non-volatile Flash memory.

The remote joints the RTI KA8 and KA11 touch screens in Invision’s portfolio. Both are designed to provide intuitive control, and combine widescreen LCD displays with integrated capacitive touchscreens. At 11.6 inches, the KA11 features RTI’s largest touch panel display to date. The KA8 is the company’s first 8-inch touch panel, optimised for installations that demand a smaller screen.
