Ring has announced that its new pro-installer product range, X Line, will launch in the UK in partnership with AWE Europe.

Aimed at ‘do it for me’ consumers, X Line comprises a range of Ring devices and subscription bundles, built around a Ring Video Doorbell or Security camera. These packages include Ring Protect Basic subscription for the lifetime of the device, and four-year limited warranty.

There will be six bundles aimed at simplifying the Ring proposition for integrators and clients.

These comprise the Ring Video Doorbell Pro X, exclusive to X-Line (£329), Ring Video Doorbell Elite X (£449) and Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus X (£299). Ring Stick Up Cam Elite X (£279), Ring Spotlight Cam Wired X (£299) and Ring Floodlight Cam X (£349).

The Ring X Line will be supported by a comprehensive online training program and partner approval process.

“We believe this is a fantastic opportunity for installers,” says John Niebel, Lead evangelist and Training Manager for the Ring X Line.”It can change the way they do their business in home security.”

Stuart Tickle, MD AWE Europe, describes the launch as “one of those rare game changers in this industry.”

General Manager Andrew Vloyanetes, who manages the install industry business at Ring, says: “You might be wondering why Amazon cares about the home install business. Ring is a DIY product. But at Amazon, we always work backwards from the customer, and we know that when a pro installer is involved, we know the customer is getting the best service and the right solutions to fit their needs. We also know that not every home is the same…”

Ring X-Line is available in the UK September. For more news stories about AWE’s product range and portfolio, visit our resource page here.
