RGB Communications has added wireless blind manufacturer QMotion UK to its product portfolio across the commercial and residential AV market sector.

QMotion UK Advanced Shading Systems is a leader in wireless window covering solutions for residential and commercial environments.  Unlike many rivals propositions, no power or control wires are required. QMotion provides a wireless motorised shading system that doesn’t require re-wiring, chasing out walls or wire covers. Integrators, or end users, can install a fully motorised and controllable shading system without the need for electricians or specialist contractors.

“It is an exciting time for RGB as we add QMotion UK to our residential and commercial portfolio. Using innovative Zigbee technology, the high quality wireless products will work in harmony with other industry leading brands, providing our customers an integrated IoT solution” said Caroline Britt, RGB’s Managing Director.

The QMotion range can be used for a variety of solar and blackout applications. The system promises a long battery life with patented manual override command, and is compatible with a number of popular control platforms.

The demand for automated blind control is increasing at a rapid rate and we look forward to working with RGB Communications as this trend continues to grow.”

RGB’s portfolio now boasts three blind manufacturers to suit every application. In addition to the Zigbee wireless QMotion line, integrators can also choose from Lutron’s wired or wireless range, and  Oceanair, which offers  bespoke wired and manual blinds to suit challenging briefs.
