QMotion will showcase a range of energy efficient Honeycomb shades at ISE 2017. The range has a a gap of just 4mm on either side, and can be fully automated using QMotion’s QiS ZigBee,a  two-way solution for control and whole home integration. Utilising ZigBee HA 1.2, QiS can be integrated with compatible devices in a Control4 home automation system. Drivers are also available for easy integration with Vantage, Crestron, Savant, URC and RTI via a compact QMotion Qube integration device.

The Honeycomb blinds maximise energy efficiency by using a cell-like fabric technology that keep spaces cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The shades are available with nine colour co-ordinated headrail covers and bottom rails. Translucent and blackout fabrics for improved light control and privacy are also available.

As with all QMotion blinds, Honeycomb shades use the company’s patented counter balancing spring system, which keeps motor power consumption to an absolute minimum and promises near silent operation.

There’s also a manual override feature. A slight tug on the bottom of the Honeycomb Shade will energise the motor and the shade will rise. Similarly, by pulling down on the automated shade, height can be adjusted manually.
