Optoma is inviting AV professionals to get hands-on with its new LED display solutions, professional and consumer 4k UHD projectors and interactive flat panel displays, at its upcoming Tech Day on May 9. The event, which runs between 9am - 12:30pm at Optoma’s headquarters near Hemel Hempstead, will feature many products first unveiled at ISE.
Attractions include the brand’s new QUAD FHD130 LED display, which features a unique 4-in-1 Surface Mount Diode layout and comes pre-calibrated for installation in just a couple of hours.
Other LED displays to be shown include a 5 metre wide 2.6mm pixel pitch bespoke resolution (1920x864) LED display, 4m wide 2mm pixel pitch Full HD LED display and 3m wide 1.5mm pixel pitch Full HD LED display.
Multi-touch interactive flat panels include 4K UHD resolution 65-, 75- and 86-inch displays which were recently awarded low blue light certification from product testing and certification organisation TÜV Rheinland. Optoma’s low blue light IFPDs claim to reduce eye strain by minimising blue light output, and produce no hazardous UV light emissions.
There will also be a shootout of Optoma’s new 4K UHD interchangeable lens laser projectors: the 7,000 lumen ZK750 vs the 10,000 lumen ZK1050, as well as two ZH420UST ultra short throw laser projectors blended using the integrated warping and blending engine.
And just for fun, installers will also get a chance to set lap records in its racing simulator. This time attendees will be racing around Brand’s Hatch Indy circuit, with the fastest driver winning a pair of BE Free5 earphones.
“The event will enable AV professionals to get hands-on with the new tech whether that is the LED displays, projectors or our new interactive flat panel displays,” says Nick Price, Sales Director. “Optoma is no longer just a projection company, we are in the business of big imagery. This event allows our customers to see, and try, this wider range of display solutions that we can now deliver to suit all situations and environments.”
"How do I attend the Optoma Tech Day event?"
AV professionals must pre-register to attend via email carley.everton@optoma.co.uk, or telephone 01923 691 866. Optoma’s headquarters is located off the A41 just outside Hemel Hempstead, accessible from the M1 and M25.
