Optoma has introduced a Full HD gaming and home entertainment projector with HDR support, and an input lag of just 8.4ms.
Weighing less than 2.5kg, the HD29H sports two HDMI inputs plus a USB power port, able to power HDMI dongles like the Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Google Chromecast. Brightness is high at 3400 lumens, making it suitable for media rooms and game dens. The projector comes with an integrated 10W speaker, as well as an audio output for connection to external sound systems.
“With a latency of just 8.4ms and the ability to accept a 1080p 120Hz signal, we developed this compact projector with gamers in mind,” says Kishan Mistry, Product Manager. “As well as the lightning refresh rate, this bright and versatile projector delivers high contrast and allows gamers to see far more detail and texture. The HDR imagery is also great for watching movies, live sport and TV shows.”
The HD29H sells for £699
