Optoma has added four more projectors to its DuraCore laser ProScene range. The ZU500T, ZH500T, ZW500T and the short throw ZU500TST all have a brightness of 5,000 lumens and offer advanced installation options, including HDBaseT, lens shift, four corner correction and 360 degree positioning.
The DuraCore laser range will operate for 20,000 hours in full brightness mode, and have IP rated IP5X dust certification. The new models also support Picture-by-Picture (PbP) and Picture-in-Picture (PiP), for video-conferencing and similar collaborative applications.
WUXGA, 1080p and WXGA resolutions are supported.
The range are designed for maintenance-free, continuous 24 hour operation, making them suitable for use in larger venues, lecture theatres, auditoriums and conference rooms. Horizontal and vertical lens shift, plus 1.6x optical zoom, simplify installation. Four corner geometric adjustment can correct for uneven walls, or if the projector needs to be installed at an angle.
“Optoma offers the features associated with high-end exchangeable lens laser projectors in an affordable fixed lens, low profile projector,” says Philip Watt, Commercial Product Manager. “The new 500T series comes in WUXGA, 1080p and WXGA resolutions and offers true 360 degree installation.”
