Scottish loudspeaker manufacturer is unveiling five new models this month, expanding its flagship UK made F1 Series with two stand mount models (pictured above) and adding three new models to its F700 Series, the compact bookshelf F700, standmount F701 and F704 floorstander.

The move brings the popular series to five strong and now includes the optional FS8 dedicated speakers stands for the smaller models.

The 70kg F704 is designed for larger listening rooms, and features a 300mm IsoFlare point source driver with supplementary 300mm bass driver. Fyne Audio cites 600W peak power and a dynamic reach of 120dB SPL. By contrast, the bookshelf F700 is just 348mm tall and sports a single 150mm IsoFlare driver. The larger F701 steps up to a 200mm driver in a 465mm tall cabinet.

Like all models in the F700 series, the new F700, F701 and F704 are available in piano gloss black, piano gloss white and piano gloss walnut veneer. They sell for £2500, £4000 and £11,000 a pair respectively.

The two new F1 additions, the F1-5 and F1-8, are stand mount models, designed to bring high-end sound to smaller rooms, they feature piano gloss real walnut veneers with burr walnut inlays.

The newcomers are based around 125mm and 200mm IsoFlare point source drivers. Like others in the F1 Series, both models offer control over the presence band output via a front mounted aluminium knob, which offers subtle adjustment of the soundstage without impacting the overall balance. The F1-5 and F1-8 will sell for £3000 and £6000 respectively.

All have Fyne’s BassTrax Tractrix LF diffuser system integrated into their machined aluminium plinths. Fyne Audio proclaims BassTrax a core principle of its loudspeaker design architecture.

The new speakers will make their debut at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show, which runs February 21-23.
