Optoma has taken the wraps off a new range of multipurpose professional DLP projectors for corporate AV and education. At home in boardrooms, meeting rooms and classrooms, the new models combine high brightness with a range of resolutions (1080p, WXGA and XGA).
Designed to replace legacy LCD projectors with a similar throw, the six new models comprise the EH400+ (pictured above) and EH400 (1080p); W400+ and W400 (WXGA) ; X400+ and X400 (XGA). All weigh in at 2.52kg for easy installation and portability. The 400+ models offers a 1.3x zoom, while 400 Series have a 1.1x zoom.
Joe Ahmed, head of marketing at Optoma EMEA, commented: “We are launching this new range of projectors specifically for professional users who want higher quality images for both data and video and a level of brightness suitable for almost any meeting room. They have similar throw ratios to old LCD projectors making it quick and easy for businesses to swap over.
“All models have Eco+ modes for energy saving and an exceptional lamp life of 10,000 hours for added savings. And because they are installed with DLP technology, their image quality and brightness will not degrade over time.”
Inputs include twin HDMI with MHL support. They can be used with Google Chromecast and Optoma’s own HDCast Pro multimedia stick, for easy sharing of content from laptops and tablets. The 400+ series add two VGA inputs and can be managed remotely via RJ45.
All 400+ series projectors feature a built-in speaker with upgraded 10W audio. 400 models have 2w audio onboard. For more, visit Optoma online.
