Naim Audio has partnered with Princess Yachts to deliver a bespoke audio solution for the marine market. The Naim for Princess audio system is based on the brand’s Uniti all-in-one players and will be deployed first on the flagship Princess S78.

The compact Uniti Atom will be fitted as standard in the yacht’s sportbridge, saloon, cockpit and master stateroom, for a synchronised multi-zone music experience. There is also a Premium upgrade which brings a Uniti Star (pictured below) to the saloon, uprated speakers and additional zones in the foredeck, guest and crew accommodation areas.

"Achieving seaworthy audiophile-grade music playback presented new challenges to both teams,” says Trevor Wilson, Managing Director of Naim Audio. “New benchmarks in acoustic engineering, craftsmanship and expert in-house testing have resulted in a sonic performance befitting a Princess yacht, while matching the high standards set by both companies.’

The system can stream High-Res Audio from a PC, Mac, NAS drive via UPnP or browse and play songs through Spotify Connect and Tidal. Built-in Google Chromecast plays music directly from compatible Android devices.

The official launch of the collaboration will take place at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, which run January 20-28.
