UK loudspeaker manufacturer Monitor Audio unveiled a new range of architectural speakers and amplification at CEDIA in San Diego. The line includes the flush-fit In-Ceiling CF230 and ICS-8 in-ceiling subwoofer with integrated back-box design. The sub fits all standard 4-inch stud wall bays and can be skimmed with plaster.
Also joining Monitor Audio’s extensive CI speaker range are a trio of super slim in-wall speakers, the WSS130, 230 and 430, which boast a hybrid back-box and mounting depth of just 50mm. Magnetically attached ‘Trim-less’ round and square grille options make for a flexible in-wall/ceiling installation, and are paintable to blend with the interior décor
The company accompanied the launch with five new installation amplifiers: the IA150-2, IA60-12, IA200-2C, IA800-2C and IA150-8C.Monitor Audio has also launched a new custom install product guide; an interactive version is available upon request.
