The third annual Technology Exposed event for custom installers and resellers has been confirmed for September 19th-20th, at Ascot racecourse - and organiser Midwich is promising some tweaks to the format this year. While there will be the usual selection of headline product introductions, there will also be an opportunity to see "different technologies working together in specific scenarios - integrated technology solutions to maximise business potential."

New Solution Areas will show dealers how they can offer a total package to customers, with demonstrations on how new technology can impact and enhance everyday life. Simulated environments will cover everything from home cinema and leisure to hospitality and healthcare. Show organisers say that there will be experts on hand to highlight opportunities for business growth.

Sectors covered will include audio visual and consumer electronics, as well as security, print and imaging markets. The exhibitors list includes tech giants Panasonic, Samsung, LG, NEC, Mitsubishi and Canon, as well as specialists such as AV Stumpfl, Dexon, Exterity, Draper, TVOne, Intermec, Honeywell and Zebra.

Midwich is also keen for installers to bring potential customers and clients along, to see just what's possible with new technology developments. "There will be no trade pricing on show," it says, "so resellers can bring customers along to see the future of technology solutions for themselves."

Show highlights are expected to include Panasonic's first LED projector, Atlona's Linkcast wireless HD distribution solution and Evoko's touch-screen room booking system. B-Tech will also be launching its 'pop out' videowall mounting solution. Naturally, there will also be plenty of opportunities to network.

"From the outset, interest in Technology Exposed was unprecedented," says Midwich Group MD Stephen Fenby. "The diverse range of vendors and the interest of the visitors who attend, prove that our industry needs this event. In addition to a substantial sales team, we will have directors, business management, credit, marketing and IT teams on site to answer questions. No other show in the UK brings together so many manufacturers and technologies under one roof."

Technology Exposed 2012 is a free event, but attendees need to register for the show in advance at www.technology-exposed.com.
