CEDIA EXPO  Meridian Audio  Training

[#pageName]

Meridian Audio will show how its products can be integrated into a complete home theatre solution using its free Design and Specification Service, at the upcoming CEDIA Expo. It's advising integrators to bring their plans to the show, where they can use the service to create high performance schemes quickly and accurately, saving hours of design time on a project.

Meridian will showcase how installers can achieve immersive hi-res audio using its 271 Digital Theatre Controller. The 271 is designed to integrate any analogue or digital AV processor or receiver on the market with Meridian’s DSP loudspeakers for exceptional home theatre performance. It provides the highest quality dynamics and clarity, in analogue, digital and 3D format applications and offers 16 unbalanced inputs, 16 balanced inputs and the option of 16 digital inputs, depending on your choice of processor.

Bringing class leading performance to the fore, Meridian’s unmatched 200 Series will also be on show, featuring the 251 Powered Zone Controller, 218 Zone Controller, and its 258 Hi-Res Eight Channel Power Amplifier (pictured below).

Its compact design features two cool-running channels of onboard amplification enabled for high-resolution audio, including Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) audio. The Meridian 218 is an award-winning Zone Controller with multiple control options, suitable for a wide range of distributed high-resolution audio applications from single zone to multi-zone use. A category-changer, the Meridian 258 can be integrated with any existing passive loudspeaker system, adding power and performance to multi-room audio systems.

Also heading to the show is UHD722 Ultra High Definition Audio Processor, a 4K switching solution, incorporating Multichannel Meridian High Resolution (MMHR) output. This enables connection to existing processors, which it says results in a significant uplift in the audio system’s sound quality. Providing the perfect link for seamless, high resolution audio, the UHD722 features Meridian’s unique high resolution Upsampling and Apodising technologies to offer the best possible performance from Blu-ray Disc, satellite TV receivers and gaming consoles.

As part of the CEDIA Training programme, Meridian’s Education Manager, Hugo Fitzjohn, will also be helping installers understand how they can easily integrate Hi-Res Audio systems into their clients’ homes. Book your place now for Hi-Res Audio: Are You Ready? on Wednesday 5th September from 10:00 – 11:30am.

Meridian products can also be experienced in action with Barco (Booth 2127) and Josh-ai (Booth 3223).
