Meridian took home two awards for the new DSP750 In-Wall Digital Active Loudspeaker at ISE 2020.

Designed and engineered for architectural installations and dedicated home theatres, the DSP750 loudspeaker is the company’s highest rated architectural loudspeaker yet. Features include three new high-performance drive-units, Enhanced Bass Alignment, and a CLASS-M DSP engine that provides thermal and dynamic bass protection.

The DSP750 has an aluminium enclosure to minimise unwanted resonances and colouration, separate mid-range driver enclosures to eliminate interaction with the bass drivers, and Centre Elevation technology for immersive sound that appears to come from the centre of the screen.

The product was honoured as a CE Pro Awards winner in the In-Ceiling / In-Wall Loudspeaker category, which recognises the very best in solutions exhibited at ISE. Meridian’s DSP750s also triumphed in the Residential Systems Best of Show Awards, determined by a panel of anonymous professional integrators and journalists.

"Its ability to produce exceptional dynamic and immersive audio experiences in cinemas and media rooms is astonishing..."

“Winning two awards is a fantastic achievement for Meridian and all the team behind the recently launched DSP750,” says Katy Bradshaw, Marketing Director at Meridian Audio. “Through years of expertise and innovation, this loudspeaker changes the way we perceive sound. Its ability to produce exceptional dynamic and immersive audio experiences in cinemas and media rooms is astonishing, and we’re proud to now call it double award-winning. The new product received a fantastic reception from dealers and integrators at ISE this year, and we welcome anyone to visit the Meridian HQ in Cambridgeshire for a demonstration of the DSP750, and to learn more about what we can offer.”

Visitors to the Barco Reference Theatre at ISE 2020, had the opportunity to hear the new in-wall loudspeakers in action and experience Meridian’s renowned sound quality in a dedicated home theatre environment, together with Barco projectors. The theatre featured nine DSP750 loudspeaker.
