Marantz expands Dolby Atmos line with powerhouse SR6013 and SR5013 AV receivers

Marantz has launched two new Dolby Atmos AV receivers, the SR6013 and SR5013. The new duo feature support for HEOS multiroom, and offer Amazon Alexa voice control via the HEOS Skill.

The SR6013 is a nine channel design, with processing for 11 channels with additional amplification. It’s rated at 185W per channel, and employs the Marantz Current Feedback design and HDAMs, plus separate DACs for each channel. Room calibration is via Audyssey MultEQ XT32.

The SR5013 is a seven channel design, offering Dolby Atmos in a 5.1.2 configuration. Power output is rated at 180W per channel. It also uses Audyssey MultEQ XT room calibration.

Common connections include eight full bandwidth 4K HDMI inputs, and three outputs. Audio codec support also includes DTS:X. High Res Audio compatible, both models will play DSD up to 5.6MHz and support Deezer, Spotify Connect and Tidal services. In addition to Ethernet and dual band Wi-Fi, there’s also built-in Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2 support.


The SR5013 and SR6013 are available in black or silver-gold, priced at £849 and £1,249 respectively.
