Japanese high-end Hi-Fi manufacturer Luxman has launched the L-595A SE stereo amplifier, a reinterpretation of its L-570 model from the 1980s, to celebrate its 95th anniversary.
Established in 1925, Luxman is one the world’s most enduring high-end audio marques.
The limited-edition L-595A SE is outwardly similar to the L-570, which made its debut in 1989, but features a number of new design details and metal processing techniques; a two-tone hair-line finish front panel revives the look of the original L-570 series.
Inside, the circuitry has been thoroughly redesigned, retaining the pure Class A operation and overall design of its celebrated predecessor. The amp boasts a pure class A 30 watts-per-channel (8Ω) rated output.
Modern niceties include a three-stage, triple-paralleled push-pull configuration and ODNF-u (Only Distortion Negative Feedback-ultimate) feedback circuit. There’s also a built-in MM/MC compatible phono amplifier circuit. Build quality is exceptional.
The production run is limited to just 300 units, each one individually numbered. Orders can now be placed in the UK at selected Luxman retailers. The L-595-A SE is priced at £11,000.
