Scottish Hi-Fi specialist Loud & Clear is to host a consumer launch for the new Naim flagship music streamer, the ND 555. The listening event will take place at the Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens, in Glasgow’s West End, fon August 23. The ND555/555PS (which retails for £19,599), will perform as part of a NAC552/NAP500 reference music system.
The event will be a rare opportunity for consumers to enjoy unfettered high-end audio. Representatives from both Naim Audio and Loud & Clear will be on hand. There will be two listening sessions, at 7.30pm and 9.00pm, alongwith a presentation from Naim's technical team on the ND 555's development. There will also be comparative demonstrations between ND 555 and Naim's previous flagship network player.
Also joined in the new Naim range by the NDX 2 (£4,999) and ND5 XS2 (£1,999), the ND 555 features a 40-bit SHARC DSP processor, and promises to eliminate SPDIF jitter from digital inputs.
To attend the Naim ND 555 event, call 0141 221 0221, or register on Eventbrite here.
