Premium German TV brand Loewe has announced KNX integration. In a first for a TV brand, the company has partnered with fellow German technology firm ISE to produce the control module. The system is on demonstration at the Light & Build show, Frankfurt (March 18-23).

The ISE KNX module enables seamless integration with any KNX based install, offering new opportunities to integrate their TV within a smart home environment. Features enabled by the technology include being able to pre-programme the Loewe set to switch on in the morning, or interact with a smart home lighting system. A set could also be programmed to become part of an occupied-home simulation, enhancing security.

The introduction of the KNX module for Loewe televisions, together with availability of certified IP and RS232 drivers for Crestron and Control4, plus drivers for Savant and RTI, are a powerful indication of Loewe’s commitment to the smart CI space.

Prices for the ISE KNX Loewe module available on application from ISE.
