Klipsch and Henley Audio have unveiled four new soundbars, led by two high performance Dolby Atmos enabled models.
The entry-level Klipsch Cinema 400 (£379) features a pair of Klipsch Tractrix 25mm) tweeters and three 76mm midrange drivers, allied to a wireless 8-inch subwoofer. Features include. Virtual surround, dialogue-enhancement and night modes.
The step up Klipsch Cinema 600 (£549) builds on the entry model, totalling three of the same Klipsch Tractrix tweeters, four of those 76mm midrange drivers, and employs the even more powerful 10-inch wireless subwoofer. System builders can add optional Klipsch Surround 3 speakers for a complete 5.1 audio experience.
The Klipsch Cinema 800 (£899) is a Dolby Atmos model with 7.1.4 decoding. It also supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Spotify Connect. A 3.1 speaker system, including the Klipsch 10-inch wireless sub, the Cinema 800 offers 8k video passthrough. Installers can also select the optional Klipsch Surround 3 (£256) speakers, elevating the 3.1 system into a fully-fledged 5.1 surround sound animal.
The flagship of the range is the Klipsch Cinema 1200 (£1,449). This Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 soundbar ships with wireless surrounds, and a 12-inch wireless subwoofer. Power output is rated at 1200W. It’s also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Spotify Connect. The Cinema 1200 soundbar, surrounds and subwoofer are crafted from real wood and the package includes interchangeable walnut end caps.
