Sky has released details of upcoming UHD content for its Sky Q platform this month, and there’s some solid film premieres and eagerly awaited sports.

Kingsmen: The Golden Circle and Goodbye Christopher Robin will join Justice League on Sky Cinema UHD this month. The former features a plethora of spectacular action scenes which could be used to showcase 4K displays, however they’re not family friendly!

Other premiere’s joining Sky’s UHD slate this month is drama and Sundance Film Festival entry Patti Cake$, and Jumanji. Remastered for UHD favourites worth a look this month include Cloud Encounters Of The Third Kind: Collector’s Edition, all four Bourne movies and Zombieland. On Sky Store, in UHD are Love, Simon and Isle of Dogs.

The Premier League (over 120 matches) season all starts on Aug 10, in UHD, on Sky Sports (but not, as hoped, in HDR). 4K Formula 1 returns with the Belgium GP on August 26, and the Italian GP on September 2.
