KEF has enlisted the help of The Man from U.N.C.L.E to promote its latest loudspeakers. The company has partnered with Warner Bros and will use Guy Ritchie’s bigscreen prequel to the iconic sixties TV spy show to help expand brand awareness to film fans. Howevere, the push should also help raise awareness of Dolby Atmos home cinema across the board.

With a strapline of ‘Bring some style to your home entertainment’, the campaign focuses on KEF’s R50 Dolby Atmos enabled speaker. The Blu-ray features a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. The deal will see KEF retailers displaying promotional material, with copies of the disc being used in stores for demo.

Explains KEF, the partnership will be “strongly supported with high profile and comprehensive print and digital advertising campaigns in leading UK media in order to greatly increase KEF brand awareness to film aficionados.”

The brand is also running a consumer competition online for a £6,000 KEF R Series 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos AV System, comprising R500, R100, R200c, R400b, R50 loudspeakers plus a 55-inch Samsung curved TV and Blu-ray player, Yamaha Aventage AV receiver and a Blu-ray of the movie.

Nick Bryant, Head of UK Sales and Marketing says: “KEF is passionate about high quality music and movie sound reproduction. It’s what we love. To partner with Warner on one of 2015’s most exciting movies by such a stimulating director as Guy Ritchie, and offer consumers the chance to win something that will really improve their experience of music and movies was really something we didn’t want to miss – the synergy is just perfect!”
