Invision Regional Sales Manager Ian Mulry is to run 186 miles in April, including tackling the London Marathon, for the Brain Tumour Charity
Mulry is no stranger to extreme challenges. Last year he took part in Canda’s IronMan event, as well as assorted marathons, triathlons and cycling events.
As part of his local running club in Leighton Buzzard, he was selected to be part of their London Marathon team. “I’m over the moon to have been selected to run the London Marathon for my club this year and raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity is a great honour”, he says.
Previously Mulry has run 152 miles in one month when training for ultra marathons, this April he will be running 186 miles. “I will run everyday throughout April, putting the 26 miles of the London Marathon and a 50 mile ultra marathon into the mix,” he says blithely. “I’ve always been one to push myself with my running and cycling so I didn’t want this year to be any different and if this helps raise even more funds for such a great charity then I will have succeeded”.
