Invision’s long running Technology Showcase has been hailed a success by the organisers. The trade event featured the latest installation products from 26 manufacturers, plus presentations from keynote speakers, and attracted over 250 industry professionals.
“We were delighted to have such a wide array of innovative products and thought-provoking presentations at our Technology Showcase, “ says Steve Beahan, Invision’s managing director.
“I am certain that everyone who attended left with a clear understanding of how they will be able to delight their customers with our premium products. The future of custom install looks set to be very exciting.”
Of the technologies on display; three products proved a big hit.
RTI’s KA8 and KA11 panels provide simple, intuitive control of the entertainment, environment and security systems in residential or commercial facilities. They feature a fully customizable 8- or 11-inch widescreen LCD display with 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution and integrated capacitive touchscreen. The RTI touch panels can be used on a table top or wall mounted.
Ambient light and proximity sensors automatically adjust the screen brightness and LED backlight according to the environmental light level. Built-in gigabit Ethernet with PoE and 802.11 b/g/n dual band Wi-Fi enable video from IP security cameras, to check security cameras, video intercom functionality, enhanced two-way feedback and remote programming updates.
Invision newcomer Ad Notam attracted interested with its Reflexion mirror screen televisions. Ad Notam has partnered with Invision to create two new sizes of Reflexion LED mirror televisions, specifically 22- or 32-inches. There is a finish choice of Silver Magic Mirror or Gloss Black. Each comes with integrated invisible speakers and waterproof remote control and are simple to fit.
Origin Acoustics Bollard loudspeaker was popular with those working on outdoor installations. The subwoofer and wiring are all buried in an underground conduit for a seamless finish and solid connectivity.
With anodized-aluminium enclosures, the speakers use an acoustic lens design to spread sound evenly across the outdoor area and the 70v technology allows the sound to extend to the furthest reaches of any property.
