Invision has announced two new events, covering cinema screens, smart home solutions and in-ceiling speakers. Each Show & Tell event, which runs between 10.00 -14.00, has been designed to allow integrators to drop in whenever best suits.

The distributor's Screen Special takes place March 17 at Innovation House, Bracknell. The Invision team will showcase Screen Innovations projector screens at this event, including the ALR Black Diamond, the first (and still the only, says Invision) optical screen that rejects light from above, below, and on both sides, the Solo, a wireless, motorised, Zero Edge screen that can run for 2 years on a single charge, and the high contrast Solo Short Throw, a combination of the motorised Solo and ALR Short Throw material.

The Solo’s lithium-rechargeable and low-voltage options, allows installers to install a cinema virtually anywhere.

Attendees will also experience Invision’s Reference Home Cinema. DTS: X Pro equipped, it utilises 26 Procella speakers in a 11.4.8 configuration, with 4k video supplied by a Sony VW-870ES projector and a Screen Innovation Zero Edge screen.

Invision’s Speakers and Smart Home event will take place April 29, at its Holdan Office, in Glossop. At this, attendees will get a closer look at Origin Acoustics’ Cedia Award-winning Director collection of architectural speakers. The Director collection features unique Zip-Clip technology, providing tool-free installation. This mount allows installation of 19 different speakers in the same 222mm cut-out.

Invision will also be showcasing Fibaro, Pulse-Eight and DoorBird at this Show & Tell session.

Customers can pre-register for each Show & Tell on the Invision website here. For more news stories about Invision, visit our resource page here.
